Christopher is a Member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly. He was an original Panel Deputy (previously Receiver) appointed by the Court of Protection and has been a member of the Law Society's Probate Section and Conveyancing Section.  He is also one of Mencap's Wills and trusts Service's professional advisors.

He is a pension trustee and a charity trustee.  He has been involved in the setting up and running of public charities and private trusts.  He is a hospice council member.

His work involving the elderly and the disabled takes him out into the community a great deal.  He divides his time between the Weymouth office and the Poundbury, Dorchester office.

Work areas:
Wills, property, charity, inheritance and capital gains tax planning, trusts and estates, personal affairs, disabled persons (both physical and mental disablities) and their families and Court of Protection.
