Ian graduated with an Honours degree from University College Wales, Aberystwyth and qualified as a solicitor in 1980. He worked as a solicitor in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, before moving to Dorset 1983.

In addition to private practice, Ian has also worked for Dorset County Council and the Royal National Institute for the Blind. He is a former member of The Society for Computers and Law as well as being a member of The Land Registry Chain Matrix Focus Group.

Outside of work he teaches Taiko performance drumming and is a chief instructor for Taiko Evolution who provides workshops, regular classes and a community drumming group for adults in Weymouth.  For more information, please click: www.taikoevolution.co.uk
