Karen has worked for Pengillys for 21 years.  Having started in April 1987 when the firm was know as Pengilly & Ridge.  She initially worked as a Conveyancing Partner's Secretary for 13 years until the birth of her son, whereupon she went part-time, and continued to work for and assist the Partners and Solicitors in all matters throughout the Firm.

In 2007, Karen took up the position of Conveyancing Executive, with 21 years of conveyancing expertise behind her, she works in all areas of Conveyancing, including dealing with the Deposit Protection Service, Stamp Duty Land Tax Online and also deals with the formatting and training of our Conveyancing Case Management system.  In 2007, she became one of our Home Information Pack Officers where her responsibilities include collating all relevant information and then producing Home Information Packs.

Karen was born in Wales, but has lived all over Britain as her Father was a Naval Officer.  Her family moved to Weymouth in the 1970's and decided to settle here.  She enjoys swimming, karate and is a keen motorcyclist.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and taking her dogs for long walks in the countryside.
