Lindsey Arnold was delighted to have the opportunity to rejoin the Pengillys Family Team last year where she had previously worked for over 11 years up until 1998.  She has over 27 years legal experience and specialises in Family Law and has previously practiced in local firms in both Weymouth and Dorchester.  

Lindsey came to the Weymouth area from Newbury in Berkshire many years ago and has been a part of the Western Circuit legal scene for a long time and is a well known face in the town.  She originally qualified as a teacher, then after a spell working as a Child Care Officer for the Social Services Department acquired a taste for the law whilst working for the Ministry of Justice. 

She decided to branch out into private practice and qualify as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives some years ago.  Early on in her career she developed a passion for Family Law in particular for her work involving children.  

Lindsey is highly experienced in all aspects of Family Law and has also worked on various International and high profile cases involving children and Human Rights.  She has also enjoyed success in the Court of Appeal on a case that has brought the law involving children into the 21st Century.  

She always enjoys a challenge and is known for going the extra mile for her clients and feels the most important aspect of Family Law is the ability to communicate at all levels from young children clients/teenagers to other professionals and the Judiciary alike.

Lindsey is a member of Resolution which is formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association and her aim where possible is to try and reach an amicable solution to a problem and take the heat out of any situation where she can.

Her interests include photography and travel in particular to the Far East and the South Pacific.
