Stephen Jones, Principal
Stephen qualified as a solicitor in 1986 and returned to his home town to work. Stephen specializes in property work including conveyancing, landlord and tenant and business sales and purchases. He also has expertise in wills, probate, tax planning and helping elderly clients including clients who have lost the mental capacity to manage their affairs. Formerly a partner with Wickham & Lloyd-Edwards, Stephen is one of only a few solicitors on the Court of Protection panel of approved receivers.
In 2009, Stephen was appointed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to be an external examiner for the College of Law's solicitors finals course known as the Legal Practice Course, having previously been an external examiner for five years with a University in the Midlands.
Stephen acts as a trustee on many private and charitable trusts.
In his free time Stephen enjoys the outdoors including walking, swimming and camping and has completed a number of long distance footpaths.

Stephen is Pengillys' Complaints and Quality Control Principal. A member of The Law Societys Property and Probate section; and a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
