Tim Guppy, Partner

Tim Guppy, PartnerTim began his professional career with Pengillys in 1975. He qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and has been a partner since 1986.

An enthusiastic and meticulous litigator appointed a Deputy District Judge in 2000. A member of various professional bodies including Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and the Law Society's Family Panel.  An enthusiastic accredited Resolution Collaborative specialist.  Although Tim concentrates on family work - particularly finances - through his expertise as a DDJ currently also accepting the role as supervising the firm's Litigation Department.

Tim is a former President of the Dorset Law Society and a former long-standing Committee member.

Tim is a keen sportsman, still following both the Terras and West Ham.  He is hoping that the Terras will be able to retain their Conference status with an improvement in results to avoid a relegation god-fight and is delighted that he will not have to endure the Hammers struggling this season.  Tim is also an enthusiastic Tennis player and keen walker, currently embarking on the Jubilee Trail.

Family law, including divorce, separation, and the financial consequences.  Disputes involving cohabiting couples - Trusts of Land and Civil Partnership Dispute. Personal Injury and general civil claims
