Suspension

Procedures for suspension on full pay, pending an investigation by the relevant authorities, must be followed with care, particularly if dismissal is likely to be the eventual outcome. This helps to avoid future litigation as well as making clear your expectations of employee conduct, as outlined in your contracts of employment, for your remaining workforce.
