Landlord & Tenant Costs Estimation

An estimation of the costs included are as follows:

 

If the tenant moves out following a Notice to Quit - £75.00 + VAT

  • If possession proceedings are issued under Section 21 of the Housing Act 1988 - £450 + VAT
  • If possession proceedings are issued under Section 8 of the Housing Act 1988 - £750 + VAT
  • If we make an application to the Court to instruct the Bailiff - £75 + VAT

 

There are often disbursements that will need to be paid, the cost of which are as follows:

 

  • Court fee on issuing the possession claim - £175.
  • Court fee on issuing a Warrant for Possession (instructing a Bailiff - £110.
  • In the event of a locksmith being called to the property whilst the Bailiff is in attendance, quotes will be obtained for these costs.
