Profile

Kate joined Pengillys in 2011 following a number of years experience working as an assistant to a partner in another Dorset firm.

Initially Kate’s role included coordinating a busy mediation practice, but during her time with Pengillys, inevitably her passion for family work and in particular her interest in law relating to children (both public and private) has resulted in her returning to assist a principal in challenging and sometimes reported cases cases at all levels of the Family Court (including using the appeals process). Kate assists with the preparation of client’s statements and drafting documentation, as well as attending Court, and also coordinates legal aid applications within the firm.

When Kate is not pursuing further post graduate studies, she also enjoys spending as much time as possible with family and friends, and taking part in walking events to raise money for charity.
