Amy Heaver

Profile

Amy is based in our Poundbury office and specialises in Commercial Property. Having grown up in Bridport, Amy studied Law at Cardiff University and undertook her training contract at a regional firm in Hampshire. Amy moved to London in 2009 to work for a City firm before returning to Dorset in 2015.

Amy enjoys acting for commercial landlords and tenants in all property matters, including commercial leases, variations, assignments, option agreements, sales and purchases, and re-financing.

Amy describes herself as mindful of the bigger picture and pragmatic: “I enjoy working collaboratively with other lawyers so that, together, we get the job done, whilst also making sure my clients get a good deal. I’m proactive and I really care about doing a good job for you.”

After taking a short break from Law, Amy joined Pengillys in January 2023.

Amy is a mum of two children and her husband runs a local long-standing company. Amy says “we love living in Dorset and being part of a community. We get involved and enjoy a good work/life balance”.
